6 Qt. Popcorn
1/2 C. Karo syrup
1/4 C. Butter
2 C. Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Vanilla
3 drops of food coloring
Bring water, butter, sugar and salt to a boil for about 4 minutes on medium high heat until soft ball stage (Test in a cup of cold water. A couple of drops of mixture should form a ball, but still be soft). Remove from heat and add vanilla and food coloring. Stir well. Pour over popcorn and mix thoroughly.
